You are not alone – it is estimated that every day in the U.S. well over 6,000 women enter the menopausal phase of their life. That fact, coupled with the fact that because most of us are living longer these days, we can easily expect to live another 30 years after menopause, and that means we are in plenty of good company! Recent statistics show that women live 40% of their lives after menopause, and I plan on being one of them.

With that in mind, I have decided to share things learned about my journey up to and through menopause, including but definitely not limited to, personal experiences, my own research, trials, tribulations and various things that help along the way.

As stated in many places throughout these pages,  please know that  I am not a medical professional. I am just another one of you who is proactive about her own health, so please do not take any of my opinions or discussions as medical advice.

I would also like to tell you that unlike a lot of other blogs out there, this blog is not endorsing any particular doctor, medical practice, product or service - just my observations and personal experiences as I search for the best ways to make this phase of life more comfortable.

Many women are searching for ways to relieve some of the most common physical menopause symptoms like hot flashes, night sweats, headaches, trouble sleeping, along with the emotional changes taking place - a lot of which are hormone related.  This blog as a way to keep  a way to document and share what I have found.

Hopefully, you will find these pages useful when researching the choices you have in regard to your health and well-being during the best years of your life!

Thank you for visiting.
